बड़कोट को आदर्श नगर बनाने की दिशा में एक और कदम
दिनांक 26 मई 2025 को नगर पालिका परिषद् बड़कोट की महत्वपूर्ण बोर्ड बैठक सम्पन्न हुई। इस बैठक में नगर के सर्वांगीण विकास, जनहित और आधारभूत सुविधाओं के सुदृढ़ीकरण हेतु कई अहम निर्णय लिए गए।
हमारा उद्देश्य स्पष्ट है – बड़कोट को एक आदर्श, सुरक्षित, समृद्ध और पर्यावरणीय संतुलन युक्त नगर बनाना। यह कार्य आप सभी के सहयोग से ही संभव है।
📝 बोर्ड बैठक – प्रमुख प्रस्तावित एजेंडा एवं निर्णय
1. आधुनिक हॉस्पिटल निर्माण (NGO के सहयोग से)
नगरवासियों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से पालिका क्षेत्र में एक आधुनिक अस्पताल का निर्माण किया जाएगा, जिसमें NGO का सहयोग लिया जाएगा।
🔹 साथ ही जल संकट के समाधान हेतु वाटर ओवरहेड टैंक भी स्थापित किया जाएगा।
2. IIT रुड़की के सुझावों का कार्यान्वयन
आपदा प्रबंधन, राजस्व वृद्धि और सार्वजनिक सेवाओं को मजबूत करने हेतु, IIT रुड़की द्वारा दिए गए सुझावों को पालिका स्तर पर लागू किया जाएगा। इससे नगर की तैयारी और पारदर्शिता दोनों में सुधार होगा।
3. पालिका की आय वृद्धि हेतु कॉमर्शियल स्पेस का विकास
A. डंपिंग जोन क्षेत्र में पर्यटन केंद्र का विकास:
- बोटिंग एरिया
- क्लॉक टावर
- स्विमिंग पूल
- पार्क
यह क्षेत्र पर्यटन और स्थानीय व्यवसायों के लिए एक प्रमुख आकर्षण केंद्र बनेगा।
B. भट्टी खाला और सकरोला गाड़ का विकास:
- इन क्षेत्रों को सहस्त्रधारा की तर्ज पर विकसित किया जाएगा, जिससे पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और स्थानीय रोजगार में वृद्धि होगी।
4. हर वार्ड को रोड कनेक्टिविटी
नगर के प्रत्येक वार्ड को मुख्य सड़कों से जोड़ने की योजना पर कार्य होगा। इससे लोगों की आवाजाही, आपातकालीन सेवाएं और व्यापारिक गतिविधियां सुचारु होंगी।
🔸 NH चौड़ीकरण हेतु NOC स्थानीय नागरिकों की सुरक्षा, समुचित ड्रेनेज, प्रभावित दुकानदारों की आजीविका, पुनर्वास तथा भविष्य में अतिक्रमण रोकने हेतु बैरिकेडिंग व चौराहों पर डिवाइडर निर्माण की शर्तों के साथ दी जाएगी।
5. आंगनबाड़ी उपकेंद्र की स्थापना (वार्ड 3 एवं 7)
महिलाओं और बच्चों के पोषण, स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए वार्ड 3 और 7 में आंगनबाड़ी उपकेंद्रों की स्थापना की जाएगी।

Key Decisions Taken for the Holistic Development of Barkot
On 26 May 2025, a significant board meeting of the Municipal Council Barkot was successfully conducted. Several key decisions were made focusing on the overall development of the town, enhancement of public services, and improving the quality of life for its residents.

Board Meeting – Proposed Agenda & Major Decisions
1. Construction of a Modern Hospital (With NGO Support)
To strengthen healthcare services in the municipality, a modern hospital will be constructed with the collaboration of an NGO.
🔹 Additionally, a water overhead tank will be installed to address the ongoing water crisis.
2. Implementation of IIT Roorkee’s Recommendations
Recommendations provided by IIT Roorkee related to disaster management, revenue generation, and public facility enhancement will be implemented at the municipal level to improve efficiency and preparedness.
3. Development of Commercial Spaces to Boost Municipal Income
A. Transformation of the Dumping Zone Area into a Tourism Hub:
- Boating Area
- Clock Tower
- Swimming Pool
- Park
This development will turn the area into a tourist attraction and boost local business activities.
B. Tourism Development in Bhatti Khala and Sakrola Gad:
These areas will be developed similar to Sahastradhara (a popular tourist spot) to promote tourism and create local employment opportunities.
4. Road Connectivity for Every Ward
Every ward within the municipal area will be connected to main roads to ensure better mobility, emergency response, and commercial accessibility.
🔸 NOC for NH Expansion will be provided only under the conditions of:
- Ensuring safety of local residents
- Proper drainage system
- Livelihood protection for affected shopkeepers
- Rehabilitation
- Anti-encroachment measures like barricading
- Construction of dividers at every intersection
5. Establishment of Anganwadi Sub-Centres (in Wards 3 & 7)
To promote nutrition and early childhood education, new Anganwadi sub-centres will be established in Ward 3 and Ward 7 for the benefit of women and children.
