बड़कोट नगर के समग्र विकास और नागरिक सुविधाओं को बेहतर बनाने के उद्देश्य से IIT रूड़की की विशेषज्ञ टीम ने आज नगर क्षेत्र का स्थल निरीक्षण किया। यह निरीक्षण नगर की कई गंभीर समस्याओं जैसे कि भूस्खलन, भूमि कटाव, जल संकट, अव्यवस्थित नगर बसावट, पर्यावरणीय असंतुलन, जल एवं विद्युत आपूर्ति, स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की कमी, और स्थानीय रोजगार के अभाव को ध्यान में रखते हुए किया गया।
नगर के विकास की दिशा में एक ठोस प्रयास
IIT रूड़की की टीम द्वारा किया गया यह अध्ययन सिर्फ एक औपचारिकता नहीं, बल्कि नगर के भविष्य की रूपरेखा तय करने की एक महत्त्वपूर्ण पहल है। टीम ने क्षेत्र के भौगोलिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक पहलुओं का गहन मूल्यांकन किया।
अगले दिन भी जारी रहेगा अध्ययन
टीम का यह निरीक्षण कल दिनांक 17 अप्रैल 2025 को भी जारी रहेगा, ताकि सभी क्षेत्रों को कवर किया जा सके और समस्याओं का पूर्ण रूप से मूल्यांकन हो सके।

IIT रूड़की द्वारा किए जा रहे इस गहन अध्ययन का उद्देश्य है कि आने वाले समय में बड़कोट नगर को इन सभी समस्याओं से स्थायी और प्रभावी रूप से राहत दिलाई जा सके।

IIT Roorkee Team Conducts Field Inspection in Barkot to Study Key Civic Issues

In a significant step towards the planned development and betterment of civic amenities in Barkot Nagar, a team of experts from IIT Roorkee conducted an in-depth field inspection today. The purpose of the visit was to study pressing local issues such as landslides, soil erosion, water scarcity, unorganized urban settlement, environmental concerns, water and electricity supply, healthcare services, and unemployment.
A Concrete Step Towards Urban Improvement
This inspection by IIT Roorkee is not a routine visit, but a well-thought-out initiative aimed at building a sustainable and organized future for Barkot. The team assessed the geographical, infrastructural, and social conditions of the area to identify the root causes of these challenges.
Study to Continue on 17 April 2025
The team will continue the field inspection tomorrow as well—on 17 April 2025—to ensure that every part of the town is adequately covered and all critical aspects are examined in detail.
